Royall Inn Busteni
Royal Inn Bușteni is the place where we offer our guests modern comfort in a history-enfolded building.
The House was erected in 1904 by Alexandru Em. Lahovari, a Romanian intellectual and diplomat, who wanted to expand his family legacy.
According to historical information, the property hosted the guests of the Lahovari family, including Badea Cârțan (1849 – 1911) who spent the last part of his life here.
Later, the building became part of the Royal House patrimony as Golf House of the Royal Family and the place where King Mihai spent his childhood.
During the communist regime, the villa had several names and uses: Crivat Restaurant, then a Cinema, and after 1989 was called Coștila Bar. After the return to the Royal House, it became private property.
Royal Inn Bușteni offers its guests a foray into the 100-year history of the building, opening its doors for you to enjoy mountain landscape relaxation and 21st century comfort.
